The Business of Entertainment Association
The Business of Entertainment Association (BEA) was formed in 1991 as a networking facility for Marshall students to secure positions in the entertainment industry. Today, the BEA not only provides valuable entertainment networking events, but also offers educational seminars, access to events in the field, career preparation tools, and other useful resources and events.
The BEA’s annual conference, E2: Evolution of Entertainment, brings together students and media industry professional to address the most relevant issues facing the industry today. The conference is on its seventh consecutive year and was attended last year by over 300 students and professionals from around the world. This year, the theme is “Convergence: Mobile, Media, and Technology.” With this in mind, we have designed a series of speakers and panels to discuss the convergence of industries in the entertainment industry and the opportunities that convergence presents.
